“We chose DuraLife for a second time”
Our house is circa 1590 and the window frames and outer doors were in need of replacement.
We had had previous experience of DuraLife when they installed a conservatory for us following a recommendation from a local architect, so we visited the showroom for some ideas and advice.
We were very impressed with Evolution’s Storm 2 timber alternative range, one had to look hard to determine that it was not actually timber. It replicated the period features and wood effect detailing usually found only on traditional joinery and this was enhanced by the ‘Kolorbonded’ Farrow & Ball colour options.
We are very happy with our choice, the workmanship was excellent with a good team of skilled tradesmen and the Evolution Storm 2 product is sympathetic to our period property.
Mr & Mrs Birks
A charming detached period cottage that had previously had some windows and doors installed that were insensitive to the properties heritage. The owners wanted to take the cottage back and restore its appearance so it was in keeping with the property’s age and the surrounding village. The cottage deserved good quality timber windows and doors with product choice and attention to detail being a pre-requisite. Sightlines are important and getting this right would make an instant improvement.
