…we went with the quality and service offered by Timber Windows…
Mr & Mrs Tyrrell, Somerset
Previously having single glazed windows that weren’t the originals nor were they sash windows, the Georgian home of Mr & Mrs Tyrrell in a Somerset village was cold and draughty.
“When we found ourselves in a financial position to update our family home of 20 years, we looked to replace the windows, and by searching online we found our local Timber Windows showroom…we liked what we saw.”
“Phil from the showroom was fantastic; he helped us decide how we should approach making the replacements in the different parts of the house that had been extended and remodelled over the years.”
The replacements included a number of flush casements and traditional sash windows, all finished in Off White. Additionally a Staverton design front door in Engineered European Oak has been chosen, finished in a Dark Oak stain with Willow Green stained glass.
“We were very impressed with how the windows have been tailored to match the rest of the property, and to have Phil’s expert input.”
“We love the front door; it just fits in perfectly! Our previous door suffered from swelling in the sun so it was a job to open in the summer, and had big draughty gaps in the winter. We found cheaper doors online but were unable to see them in the flesh, so we went with the quality and the service offered by Timber Windows instead of taking a risk.”
The rest of the village residents appear to have noticed too,
“since we have had the windows and door done, we have had people knocking on the door all the time to ask where we got them from and telling us how lovely they look!”
